Thank you! How long have you been in the Fire Service?

I have been cruising the site for a short time and love the info, banter and sense of humor I've seen. I have a Canon 20D with kit lenses. Now that I am a retired LEO after 34 years with a Sheriff's Dept in So Cal, I have renewed my interest in photography. My goal is to end up on "M". I have read the manual and have been listening intently to many threads on UHH. Want to learn Macro. I saw the hummingbird thread a few days ago then was at a friend's home over the last week and did a couple of handheld shots of this little beauty that built her home on an electrical wire on the patio! The bees are from the back yard. Looking forward to a long relationship.
