It seems like a decent well made lens. Only $360 Canadian. Have to figure out how to get rid of the distortion though.

Wow on the download it is brilliant. Whatever the lens is doing it is making a great picture, ( oh and with you behind the camera :D )   Would hang that on my wall any time.

Again I got lucky and had a hole in the clouds and a small hole in my tree canopy to get a few peek-a-boo shots of the Moon. The Moon was pretty low above the horizon and I could see some shimmering in the atmosphere but I took a few shots anyway...

Moon Info 09-01-2014:

Sorry, nanaval; I didn't mean to imply the image was made with the iPad camera, it happens to be in my iPad's portfolio of images and was sent from there.
It was made with a Sony A350 with a Tamron 70-300 zoom at about 220mm.

Thats ok, its still a very good picture. :D

Did you try putting the dancer in front of the flames?

Hi deayala no because the dancer picture was not sharp enough and I wanted her to be jumping as though the flames were streaming from her....

After Lighthouse pointed out that focus was "close but no cigar" on the near eye, I applied multistage sharpening as per Fraser and Schewe to 0good effect! There are detectable sharpening artifacts slight halo on each hair, but they work well with the thick guard hairs of this species.

Thanks dpullum I got the program free with a camera mag and found it a great little program. I have the basic one and find if you work on a layer only not the background(delete that) and save as png you can open in Photoshop and just move the layer over to your picture. I work with the picture in flame painter paint on a layer then when it is right I delete my picture leaving the painted layer so it will fit on the picture in PS with maybe a bit of adjusting.....
