Number 1 and 2 don't appeal so much to me as the light on the water sort of blends in with the edge of the ice. Too much depth of field perhaps.

Number 7 appeals to me. The outline looks like a cat silhouette--its mouth is open and it is snarling at something.

Number 5 is my favorite of the bunch. The edge of the ice looks lacy.

Try various croppings and see what that does for them all,

I can't download these as I am on someone else's computer so don't know if that would make a difference. Maybe keep them and look at them again at the end of the month and decide whether to keep or delete.

#1 & 2 too busy I think. Most of these have been cropped a fair amount. Thanks for your thoughts & comments

I like #5 with the slower shutter speed that shows the water more in motion.

Thanks, is the ice sharp enough to make it a good photo?

#4 would get my vote for the best. Very nice!

You have stationary ice and moving water so of course the water is blurred.

I wanted the water blurred, is the ice sharp enough to be a good photo?

I really wanted some of these to turn out great. Do you think any of these are worth keeping? How could they have been done better. Could I have done more in post? Did not have a tripod with me & I know that would have helped, but just did not have one at the time. Please give your comments!! I will have a second set later.

Also, composition, what is working what is not?

I think they are very good Photolady.

Thanks, I like them, but are they in focus enough to be good to keep?

Rarely will you see snow on the ground and the fall dolor is still present around Yosemite Park. I took these pictures in 2012.

Wonderful photos #2 & 7 really stand out for me.

Standing at the foot of the tree I captured this squirrel coming down a limb while chewing on a seed.

Great photo & composition. He sort of has a wide eyed scared look like he is scared of heights or something!
