Mark,

Thanks for your immediate and helpful advice. The www.mp3million.com sounds like a link I need to investigate. I'm not certain there is a way to preview the music before downloading it; however, will definitely check it out. Will the music downloads "auto regulate" like they will with the music that comes with VS 10? If so, you have provided me with a simple fix. I use MP3 music for my MP3 player, every other day, during my exercise routines. Makes a world of difference.

I like the music choices in VideoStudio 10 Pro (VSP) but I can't determine another link to download music that will work on VSP 10. If there is another link outside of VSP, I'm wondering if downloading the music will sync with VSP 10--as their music will? I have requested help from tech in VSP 10 to no avail. If fact, overall, I have been disappointed with help from tech at VSP 10.

I trust B&H for advice on equipment and for purchases.

I agree with Ken. A macro lens, tripod, remote release, and non-reflective glass over the photo can yield some quality results. No reason to over-light the photos; that may increase your chances of glare--Absolute do not use a flash. First sort the photos by sizes so you can do a stack without having to make several changes with the tripod and focus. After that, wrinkles, wear marks, and slight damages to the photos can be impressively corrected with Photo Shop. Lightroom would likely work well but I am more familiar with Photo Shop.

Next, I have a recommended photo software program for you to consider. It is Breezebrowser Pro. It is an English product and has a learning curve; however, I previously used it consistently for my scientific IPTC (descriptive) data entries to my editor in New York. Later, when I became interested in old family photos, I used Breezebrowser Pro (BP) for all my labeling. Another feature I like about BP is it allowed me to easily create my HTML's for every album. In the mix somewhere, BP will allow you to "hot key" a photo from BP immediately into Photo Shop.

I suspect knowledgeable Lightroom people would do all of the editing and IPTC entries within Lightroom. I could see no reason to IPTC in Lightroom when I had BP.

Old photos that are not digitized and labeled are just one flood, aging, fire, and/or garage sale from extinction.

Has any member had any experience with the MR1? If so, positive/negative reviews?

Don't know if there is any interest by members; however, there is an active cam available at https://www.westarenergy.com/peregrine-falcons in Topeka, KS. You can view the nesting box from the outside and inside. Once the young hatch, be prepared for the natural realities involving the feeding of the young. I have yet to see how many eggs are in the nest.

Thank you for your immediate and helpful response. I'd really like to find a Kirk or Really Right Stuff rail.

If anyone out there has decided they are no longer interested in stacking macro shots and has a quality rail for sale, please post.
