I have to say that at the beginning, I was also very skeptical and held back for what I thought was a long time, but by about 2006 I made the leap, kept both systems going for a while and eventually saw the benefits of digital - immediate feedback and essentially much less waste and cost, so I dropped the film cameras totally in about 2008, but I really only started working on processing my photos in 2011 - actually sort of forced on me: I was on a trip down to Costa Rica and promised some of the other tour members to let them see my pictures - so I was pretty much forced to figure this out and that was the first album I ever worked on digitally. I eventually went back and did a few minor albums for 2010, but would have a lot more to do for 2010 and back to 2006 or whatever that first year was. But I vowed to keep going chronologically forward to cover all material - and I am about 4 years and 80,000 pictures in arrears - tough life! Have a good evening - Joe

BTW, I still have one old Bronica medium format camera with a couple of lenses with which I shot a grand total of about 4 or 5 films, it looks practically new but I wouldn't know whether it still works - I should really try to get rid of it, am not really interested in the money but it would make sense to see if someone could use this set - I have been mulling this over for more than 10 years now but never found the time or courage to initiate the step. If you know anybody that would be interested, pls let me know.

Thank you very much Kathy. I am with you, we also enjoy Spain a great deal, interestingly it wasn't actually in our plans for this year as I said in the intro, but it was a great back-up choice. A bit later on, I will have another couple of pictures of Spain from an earlier trip.
