Canon, full frame cameras "Do Not" require L series lenses. They do not accept EFS lenses. I use non L series lenses on my 5D Mark III. EF 50 1.4, Ef 85 1.8 etc.

Hey y'all I am trying to start my own business in the photography world and I am trying to think of a slogan.
I came up with "Making Everyday Moments Unforgettable"
Do y'all think this sounds too cheesy?
Opinions are greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

How about "Memory Maker"

Jerry, Longwood Gardens just outside of Philly. Will give you a 1 year pass, free, for your tripod. Every bit as nice as the Botanical Gardens. They just ask you to use common sense, when you set up.

Shortly after I joined this forum back in September I noticed the colors of most of the photos I posted were "muted" compared to how they looked while opened in photoshop. However, if I loaded the full image and you (on UHH) "downloaded" it...the true colors would come back. I know others have had the same problem too. Then I discovered that if I opened a folder of photos with Windows Photo Viewer the images looked fine until I tried to view them in the slideshow. I knew this wasn't a problem because of UHH....or even the internet.

Off and on I would search google and I may have found a possible solution to my problem (and maybe yours).

I have PS CS5 Extended. When I opened a raw image the program would use a default color setting called "ProPhoto RGB". This is the "latest and greatest" color setting that has the capability of using colors that not even the human eye can detect. According to this web site (http://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/color-settings/) ProPhoto RBG may not always be the best choice and it actually recommends using the color setting "RGB 1998".

Hopefully I can feel more at ease when I send my pics through the internet to get printed.

Check out the Spyder website. Look at Spyder 4Elite. Software to properly calibrate your monitor. So what you see, is what you get.

I get there early or stay after and get the actions shots, kicking a ball into the net from behind & thru the net. You could be at the net & have your grandchild serve over your head, have him race toward you, with his racquet poised etc. Then do the best you can with the actual game. But you will have some very realistic shots.

You could try going back to "Factory Default Settings" and start over.

Mike you can always shut the IS off when you don't need it. You can't turn it on if you don't have it. Once you buy & start using the L series, you won't go back.

Have seven grandchildren. Regardless of the inconvenience take the camera & the lenses that will give you the best results. Your creating memories. Make them good ones.
