Thanks, I see why you miss it, but Oregon should have some nice colors as well

Pretty nice blur but it is a little bit over exposed. Best time the take waterfalls picture is early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid direct sunlight hitting the falls. Nice try though!

Thanks so much Saigon. I had little choice on the time of day. But I will consider that when I do

You have done well. Water is tricky. I have shot water with shutter speeds as fast as 1/2000 sec and as slow as 30 seconds. It all depends on the "look" you are trying at get. When I shoot a river or waterfall I usually shoot about a dozen shots all at different shutter speeds to see if I have achieved the Look I want. There is not set rule to fallow. Just shoot and see......

Thanks for the compliment. That is exactly what i did, especially since it was a little windy. I lot of them got the "delete" button

I agree with UTMike. A good picture between rushing water and a smooth-looking flow.

Gaylord, thanks for your input..I was trying for something in between

Thank you hanson, I did try longer exposure but the leaves were not in focus then. It was a little windy
