Why do you want to go to a crop sensor if you loved your full frame ? Why not just upgrade from the 5D to a 5Dmk2, 3 or 4.

This saddens me too, but its now common all over the country. There is a website, "www.airfields-freeman.com" that deals with this subject that is sad but very interesting.

According to Wikipedia it is currently on loan to The National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, New York.
