I love the Prescott area. If the Chamber of Commerce used your photos, there would be a million people living there.

Let's hope they never see these. It has grown here but still has a small town feel

It was just meant to be humorous my friend! I've had almost all of these questions asked of me in response to a post!
No, not particularly important- no more than anyone else.
Certainly not famous, thank goodness!

I misunderstood the message. I can be very sarcastic and usually embrace it. But On this site I have received backhanded complements, and tirades from "experts". More often than not it is from members that have never posted a single photo but are quick to offer their advice. I usually ignore trolls. I now realize this is not the case with you. I looked at your thread and you take wonderful shots. I apologize for my knee jerk reaction.

OOOHHH...You were VERY lucky to catch this scene! Equipment used?? Shutter Speed and ISO? I wish I could catch photos like this!! Did you use a blind? Maybe treats for the critters to get them close? Were you with a photo group? Anyone famous in the group? I would sure like to get a photo of someone famous! Did you feel threatened by the spider?? By the bats? By the porcupine? I've heard porcupines can be very dangerous if approached too closely. Something about throwing spines by flicking their tails? Did you save any candy corn for later? The porcupine didn't eat all of it did he? I've heard porcupines love sweets! Was that candles inside the jack-o-lanterns? I've been told they are worse for the environment than bottled water!! Who is buried under the headstones? Anyone famous? I would love to get photos of headstones of famous dead people!
Thanks very much for posting this super photo! Are you a famous photographer? I would love to get a photo of a famous photographer! Could you sign the photo? An 8x10 would be great, but a 12x14 would be even better!!

No this shot was not photoshopped. Captured just as it happened .... regardless what the metadata might reflect. Okay I did add the text and saturation

I had been following a Blue Heron around the lake and ran out of light. I kind of was caught off guard by the moon. Tonight I figure I'll try to find a better background and larger zoom so that it has a bigger presence. It's all a learning process for me.

Watson Lake is always my excuse to go climb on rocks. I never go there with a specific goal except to hike around and see whats there. The Grey rings are the water lines, the lake is extremely low. Hoping for a lot of snow this winter\, the lakes here need it.

Love the clarity of the large scenes. What camera/lens did you use. Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks JK.
I used a few different lenses and 2 different camera bodies for those shots.
Sony A1
Sony A9
Sony 24mm F1.4 GM
Sony 24-70mm F2.8 GM
Sony 70-200mm F2.8 GMII
Sony 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM
Sony 200-600mm 5.6
I have most of the Sony's lenses, I worked at their Movie Studios for about 20 years and got a substantial discounts on the equipment otherwise I would have stayed with Nikon.
I usually have about 35 pounds of equipment in a backpack to carry around but it enables me to shoot wildlife and landscapes back to back and not keep swapping lenses.
