I also have the D7200 also. Works great and has the same controls as the D750. I have the set up very similar. It is easy to go between them.
I also know you have a A6000. I was thinking of puchasing one to carry on bike rides. How do you like yours?

I wondered about that, since he looks a bit different from wire-hairs I've seen.

Yes, the D750 is a keeper. I don't see me buying another camera any time soon

No, he doesn't sit up and beg, but at feeding time my wife trained him to sit and wait until she gives the signal (free) to go to its bowl and start to eat. This was a big achievement
being that he loves to eat and eats very fast. We watch his weight and try to keep him in good shape. We think he might have been a Wire Hair and a Straight combination. We've seen Wire Hairs with much heavier beards.
Also, I know you shoot with the D750 too. I like the camera a lot, but tried to have Nikon address the mirror slap vibration issues at slow speeds, but they weren't able to fix it after sending it back many times, so I live with it. I mostly shoot wild life, generally at my higher speeds, so I don't notice it much. I think every mirrored camera has this issue, some worse then others. I have to say, I think the D750 is the best camera that I've owed.

The Yongnuo YN-685 works great and has a built in receiver to pair with the Yongnuo YN622N-TX Transmitter. It is a High Speed flash- fires at up to 1/8000sec. (won't work as an optical slave flash-so you need to use the YN622-TX when using it off camera) It works great on camera. Make sure you buy the Nikon version.
B and H has the best deal on this combination.

You should look at the Nikon 85mm 1.8 G, I have it. It's a great lens and not too expensive.
This photo of Cooper was taken with a D750 and the Nikon 85 1.8 G

I had the first version of the Tamron and trade it in for the G2. I am very happy with the lens. It is very sharp and has many great features. I shoot with a D750 and a D7200 and it's very sharp on both cameras. I could have bought the Nikon 200-500 for the same price, but read that a lot of the copies had focus issues and were being sent back to Nikon for repair. This is an image taken with the D750 and the G2 at 600mm f9 125th ISO 1000 hand held- slightly cropped. I adjust the lens with the TAP system. (It takes time to get it right, but well worth it) When I change from the D7200 to the D750, I make and in camera Auto Fine Tune adjustment of only +1 on the D750 for the change in camera body from the D7200- very little difference. I originally set up the lens to the D7200 with the TAP software.

You should also look at the Nikon 70-200 f4G (if you don't need a 2.8). It is much lighter, smaller and very sharp.

Also, the Tamron 70-200 got great reviews.

You'll need to adjust the AF Fine Tune for that lens and TC combination with what ever camera you are using with them. It should make a big difference.

As a graphic designer, I agree. Lightroom can handle most of the work that needs to be accomplished for photography. The only reason to go into Photoshop is to do heavy manipulation of the image. I personally do not like to manipulate my photos. I like straight photography, and more interested in the photojournalistic approach.
