In the 1970s-'90s, I had a wealthy aunt who had lived in Chicago suburbs most of her life. She had a condo in Jupiter, FL, which she occupied mid-October through mid-April, and a condo in Hinsdale, Il, where she lived the rest of the year. But she couldn't resist flying back and forth all the time to see friends in both places.

At the Carolina beaches, we can always tell who the Canadian tourists are. They're swimming in the ocean without wet suits at Spring break in early April.

Wealthy Floridians have lots of summer homes in Western NC. Real estate prices have sky-rocketed there since the 1970s.

Also, in Florida, the tourists are the ones with the red kneecaps........

IIRC, in the mid 20th century when many North American tribes were mired in loooong complex legal battles over their land rights,
the Wabanaki turned up in Augusta with their claim to Aroostook county. The officials pretty much said "A treaty is a treaty. You own it. Next case please." Done deal. No years long legal battle :-)

Perhaps Linda has a more accurate recollection of the event ?

Sorry. Right. But it does block their posts. Helps a tad

I only "ignore" nasty people.
For me, simply disagreeing with their opinion doesn't warrant me ignoring them.
They are, after all, entitled to their opinion.

I had to check the product because I thought the opening post was a typo, and was meant to be CO (carbon monoxide).

"Ever feel tired and drowsy in a room? Can’t focus and head feels heavy? Your air quality might be to blame. Namely, the CO2 level."...And here I thought it was my cat waking me at 2:30 a.m. every day!!

Nah, they're hoping to get people "worked up" about CO2,
and sell the sensors.

Wait until someone starts promoting methane sensors........

Put them on your “ignore” list. Problem solved!

That won't prevent one from seeing their posts on other people's threads.

I love it when some people say negative things about people who say negative things.

Well, sometimes the second people are warranted in their comment about the first people.
In either case, it's both people's opinions.

Could be.

American Crocodile Range

Just so everyone knows where crocodiles are found in Florida.
Not typically in the Panhandle.

The snout looks a bit pointed, sure it's not a crock?
The American Crocodile lives in salt water and brackish areas in Florida.

Wouldn't "must see" depend on the individual's interests?
But getting a list might be helpful in deciding.

I have one or two Vivitar. I know one of them I can't use on a camera that doesn't support high voltage sync. I have too many flashes I don't know exactly what I have now.

Yea, I had an old flash that had a 150+V trigger voltage.
I ditched it and got the Vivitar.

I have a flash.
Somebody made it.

Thanks for the reminder.
I have to go charge and flash to help keep the capacitor conditioned.
Been a while.
