Hi there Jay Pat, My apologies if this is a double post... I thought I said hi but I can't find it so ... Thanks so much for the warm welcome and I will have tons of questions once I get going... Am trying to get used to the feel of my new camera. Have never owned anything but a point and shoot so this is all new to me... Take care and once again,... Thanks tons!! I wish I could find a simplified online course to help me out lol This truly is major for me... Am better at one on one learning but I think a simplified course would surly help.... Thanks again

So nice to meet you ebbote !! I am sure you have tons of knowledge to share if you have been at it since the 70's.... I am wishing I had started then too... but they say better late than never so here I go!! lol Now.. This is how far I have gotten... I am about to install the software that came with the camera into my computer... Was like I was scared to break the thing lol I have been kind of just trying to get used to the holding of the camera and taking pics to just get the feel .... Thanks tons for the message!!

Hi there cjkorb Sorry for the late reply! My Ottawa Senators (Sens) for short were playing Tampa Bay and lost terribly lol BUT Our Canadian Junior team with Lazar from my Sens team as Captain will now play for the Gold!! YAY!! I do get into the games a bit and last year found another love in Baseball... So Blue Jays are my team.. The Yankees coming in second for me! Love them and was such a great thing to be able to see Jeter on his last run of the bases before retirment... OH...I must stop!! lol This is a photography site ... lol So nice to meet you!!

Hi there!! A quick note before my hockey game comes on... YUP Sens lol I just purchased my first what I think is a half decent camera..... Canon Rebel SL1 EOS 100D.... Will eventually figure out what that means lol I feel I have in my hands something from Mars but am determined to learn about it all and am glad to have found this group!! Thanks tons for having me eh!! Time to relax into my game and will be back to find help and meet everyone!! Hugs! :)
