That's hilarious...especially the hand-washing part. That's exactly what my wife says to me if she knows I've been handling "natural" materials. I'm in the woods or the water every day. If she only knew what my hands look like when I'm eating lunch in the woods. LOL!

Ha!! Yeah, some stories are just told, no need to make them up. Boys will be boys and wives have a lot of mother in them. It is a Truth!

If found near Roswell New Mexico it would be the basis for a great speculative You Tube program and a plea for money to do more research.

You’re right on the grounding, I appreciate your viewing and commenting. Sometimes I forget a lesson I’ve learned before, when you think you’re done get up from the computer for a while, then come back and view it like you’re looking at it for the first time. Thanks Again

LOL, just a little though... he feels good - he feels like he belongs. He has a presence.

My initial mistake with him was centering him, which I corrected in the second version, but I think part of the problem is using too much gaussian blur trying to make him more of a foreground element . My final 2 steps were a texture blended via soft light then a gradient map for toning. Another issue I've seen with the Firefly output is the low resolution.

yeah, the resolution thing is tough. And sometimes getting the colors to feel right. But much power at our fingertips!

A great example of what can be done with an AI generated image if you are willing to take the time

yep, but still WAY LESS time than actually painting it. It is very empowering - I just wish I knew how to paint... Not so that I could, but rather the more you know, the more you can properly edit. Like photography, Seeing is the beginning of everything.

Really nice Piet. I'd like to ask two questions if I may.

What AI site do you use?

What were your instructions to create this lady?

No web site, I use a local installation of Stable Diffusion that mostly uses my NVidia card.

I need to be better at saving my prompts! I think I started with something like this:

closeup of pale white ivory beautiful woman statue bust with curly messy high bun hairstyle. fractal bone and walnut statue, carved bone and racked rotting walnut wooden bust of beautiful woman statue with messy high bun hairstyle, inlaid with walnut accents, walnut rococo, bone lace wear, sculpted, zaha hadid, trending on artstation, beautifully lit, hyper detailed, insane details, intricate, elite, ornate, elegant, luxury + + upward perspective + +, dramatic lighting, cgsociety, hypermaximalist, golden ratio, photorealistic, octane render, weta digital, micro details, in style of Giger and xenomorph, 3 d sculpture, structure, ray trace # mercury # white marble # zaha hadid # golden ratio # key art # 3 d sculpture # ray trace

The image was probably one of a hundred or so that I found interesting and then there was lots of PS work establishing the mood, making her face and eyes look realistic for instance.

Work of art

thanks Iron. I like that shot too. But I wish to see a live one. Having said that, there is a funny story about this image I took last week. I posted it in a facebook photography group named after the county I live in with the same words.

One hour later I was BANNED. Could not believe it, no explanation, no anything, just BANNED. While stunned and thinking about it, I did finally realize that the image might not be everyone's cup of tea and the words even might strike some offensive, though most would see I was just trying to be funny.

for me, I like the second, it feels really good to me. The man might be grounded a little better, the car to me was perfect.

I am really loving your final output. It is cool how you changed the flow at the point where the eye lashes come into being. I hope you printed this and hung it on a wall someplace, the image deserves it.
