We kind of treat a funeral like a family reunion of sorts now! A lot of times it is the only time the family can sincerely get together. My mother died over 2 years ago and one of my cousins who is an avid photographer took photos at the repast. He put the photos on a CD and gave one to me. I thereby made copies and gave to close family members and that way we all got to see a lot of people that we did not have the time to personally communicate with. This was a great keepsake because my mother was the next to last oldest family to pass on. At any time we have that great connection to know how many lives she touched!!
