That's why they didn't see any people, they were all home where they were supposed to be.

Georgia's governor Brian Kemp just initiated a partial rollback of the stay at home order imposed by all but seven states. He did this against the wishes of both city council members and the mayor of Tybee Island. A recreational beach area. I just don't understand the thinking of some people.

Hello,
Before I say anything I want to share my heartfelt sorrow for all who have or are suffering through these unprecedented times.
My wife and I were in Atlanta and Savannah, Ga. This was mid March and most everything we had planned on doing had either shut down or was cancelled. So we went to plan B. We did a self guided tour of both cities. Then our kids called and said they wanted us home. So we flew home early. When we went through TSA, we were the only ones in line. Now that was crazy. Atlanta, a city of over 6 million people was like a ghost town. We went to Centennial Olympic Park, site of the 1996 Olympics. A tourist attraction any other time had maybe a handful of people there. In my other life as I call it, I worked for a ABC affiliate. A TV station in Portland, Oregon. Back when we shot film. I though touring CNN would be interesting. It was closed for tours. NASCAR is big in Atlanta... cancelled. Well, you get my point. Oh well, maybe another day.

Listen to the sound of palm hitting forehead, as I should have noted the sunset a little closer. Brenneke's beach is a short walk from our timeshare, the Waiohai at Poipu Beach. We often get up to watch the sunrise and see the turtles at Poipu.

Yes, life is good isn't it. Especially on the island. Our time share is a little bit north of you.

Very nice set of one of our favorite places on the planet. We spent 10 days there in July and couldn't wait to get back, so we went again in December for a week.

Thank you.
I could not agree with you more. We were there just prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. Like everywhere, the islands are taking a financial beating right now. We have reservations for next February. Hopefully life is back to normal by then.

Very nice. I'm not sure about the first one, but it looks like the second is near Kapaa, then Wailua Falls, then Hanalei Bay?

Thank you,The forst photo was taken at Brennecke"s Beach in south shore. We were there to see the sea turtles. They are amazing creatures. Then stayed to watch the sun go down. It was a great day at the beach.

I've owned my 1933 Chevy Streetrod since 1999 and have no plans to part with it. I, too owned a corvette for awhile, a 2003 50th Anniversary model, but sold it last January. Enjoyed the Corvette for about 9 years, but never really fit in with the Corvette crowd.

What would we do without our toys? :) At 70 years old and 6'4" (going on 21) getting in and out of the Vette is entertaining to watch. Once I am in, it's all good. lol 2017 LT 2, z-51. 465 hp

No, it was a antenna and thank you for serving. Served some time with Marines at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma a lifetime ago.

Been on Kauai many times and you did a great job of capturing these locations. The second photo is my favorite of the post, simply beautiful!

Hi Streetrodder,
Thank you for your comments. Yes, it is a beautiful island. Lots of things to photograph.
So, do you still have your street rod. Sold my '34. Sure do miss it. I bought a Corvette but it just isn't the same. :(

Great set, the first 2 are beautiful.

Like I mentioned earlier, mother nature did the hard work. I just took the picture. I was at the right place at the right time. A little bit of luck never hurts.
