Please keep in mind that every genre as well as ever market may (and often is) different.

"...money is not my main goal..." Are you actually serious about this? I don't think so... Believe like so many others you realize you simply can't compete in the highly competitive market of commercial photography so you have the illusion that if you don't "Charge" going commercial rates you can still find work...

Lou time for a reality check here. Those who have master their craft don't have to find gigs... the work comes to them.

Those who believe it's all about marketing? Really? Yes you can put lipstick on a pig...
However on the commercial side of the equation that never ends well.

It's far more about having a strong consistent visual statement... and credentials (i.e. Published Tear sheets)
and a deep and very impressive client list...

Best Advice Lou? Seek out your competition on IG and see what you have to meet or exceed in your market...
Follow their journeys and see how they present their portfolio.

At a bare minimum you absolutely need to be published (preferable with Named Credit).
You also need a commercial web presence (over and above IG, FB etc.).
Need to pull a permit to shoot in a public venue? You'll need to present proof of Professional Liability Insurance

For Weddings it's the MOB that signs the check... you have to convince her, and she will be asking the DJ, Caterers; Bridal Makeup Artist; Floral and Venue providers if they have worked with you. Weddings embrace a huge multitude of players... You'll have to generate a track record with many of them before you'll start getting gigs on a regular bases.

When I sold Bobcat loaders like popcorn everyone would say "you are lucky, you never have to leave the office, they are coming here to buy".
It took two years of cold calling, phone calling, direct mailers, local advertising, etc. Buy that time every contractor including their employees, knew me. And I knew when they will be ready to buy. Whether it's a week or year later. Of course I always kept in touch with my clients because they are 80% of your continuing sales.

Selling has been proved to be a 5 call process. The first time you see them they do not remember who you are.
The 5th time they hear from you they give you the order.
That theory was 50% of my sales.

Please don't be so quick to dismiss these "crap drugs"! I am a physician and have seen many people make dramatic a dramatic recovery after starting IVERMICTIN or PLAQUANIL. These drugs are very effective and are used in countries like Africa, Israel and many european contries where these meds are over the counter. These are old drugs that have been around for many years and are very safe. It makes me wonder why our government is pushing these billion dollar meds when we have meds that cost pennies which have seemed to work.

Consider putting together a business plan and a marketing plan (not the same). This will be your roadmap to finding clients, but more importantly, it will help you manage the clients and your business. Truth is, if you are depending upon your expertise as a photographer to help you get clients - you will likely not be successful as a commercial photographer. How you handle your clients - customer service - is what will help you make money. A good business person with modest skills will almost always outsell one with amazing talent but weak business skills. Photography is 20% picture quality and 80% business skill.

You may think I haven't answered your question, but at some point you'll realize I just did - and then you'll be well on your way to "fame and fortune" as a photographer. . .

Do you believe that he has been 100% t***hful? How about the WHO? Both have lied or withheld information. More and more it appears that F***i was instrumental in having the C***D developed in China. Similarly the WHO was busy denying the presence of the v***s originating from China despite all the evidence. In short, the world has been lied to, but by all means, carry on. Don't hold anyone accountable for all these deaths worldwide or the Trillions of dollars spent on medical needs for those affected. You just focus all of that anger on some v*****e holdouts are out there...those non-conforming mofo's!

So let me see if I've got this right. When you say "That tired argument "my body my choice" is great until your choice and body infects another person, and boo hoo, "the government's not telling me what to do" who is this other person?

Is it someone who also believes my body/choice? Or is it someone who got the v*****e? And more importantly, can you prove it was person A that infected person B?

Also, and this goes out to all the hand wringing folks on here with their histrionics, this v***s has been here for nearly 2 years in one form or another. And F***i has kept moving the goalposts in terms of the number that "need" to be v****d...which should be one of the clearest indications that he is clueless what is actually needed. I don't blame the holdouts. Why should I? They are waiting for factual answers and not some "seat of the pants" guidelines. I wouldn't trust those asses either.
