Very creative. You not only added items to tell a neat story, you also photographed each step. I love your thought train. To me imagination is a large part of good photography. May I bring my cup and we can chat over a cup or two? Nice work.

Silhouettes are a favorite of mine. What was the object of their attention?

If you spend your whole life worrying about what might happen and then foregoing everything you will die having lived a completely boring life. I have been on two cruises, had a lot of fun, rode back seat doing aerobatics with pilots 22 years or so old in the Navy and have done a few other less than milk toast things. Life is meant to be lived, not hoarded.

I love the pose. That would be a beautiful image for a coin, perhaps a commemorative quarter dollar. Unfortunately we haven't had a decent eagle image on our coinage since the Morgan dollar IMHO. It is great the way the eye and the talons are rendered so sharply. A superb job in all respects.

Thank you ever so much. The color adds a happy air to the whole scenario. I have always been extremely reluctant to criticize anyones efforts. I selsom post anything as I suffer from extreme emphyysema and don't do much photo work so feel I have no right to knock anyone elses work. That is a photo worthy of enlargement and printing. You did extremely well.

Very nice, I would like to see it in color. I hate to be like that but I think this is a photo that begs for a color rendition.

I would think it might be as jaymatt pointed out. Birds of a feather, etc. In truth probably clothing style along with generally the same preferences in many things in life. I think we all feel more comfotable around folks who are like ourselves. I never gave it much thought before but you are right. You posted a nice series of photos to illustrate the point.

Great photos. I class murals with folk art which is a favorite of mine. The amount of work which goes into them is unbelievable. They are a favorite along with railroad car art. Thank you for posting them. You started my my day and weekend off on a happy note.

Because he is using a tragedy to advance his l*****t agenda. By the way, he is still urging the walkout for everyone else, he just says it's OK for Columbine to do their own thing.

What does the NRA have to do with any of the shootings? Blaming them for an insane person using a gun to k**l people is like blaming an oven for burning the Sunday dinner.

Well I am sure the kitchen sink didn't burn it.

The way they are dressed I believe they may be unhappy with the weather. It looks like they might have had great plans for the day that Mother Nature turned awry. Well lemons into lemonade is the way to go. Perhaps those turkey legs will improve their mood. As Lincoln said, "I have found most folks about as happy as they want to be." Good mood shot.

I read that poem to my wife at breakfast. She spent 28 years of her nursing career on the Alzheimers wing at a local nursing home and could relate to the message. She is an extremely patient and caring woman. I have been with her on numerous occasions when family members of those she cared for would see us out and about. They come up and thank her profusely for the care she gave their loved one even though that person may have passed 10 or 15 years ago. There are many that know and do really care about those they are charged with caring for. I know. If we end up in that situation we will be blessed if we have a nurse like her to care for us.

Hmm!! I wonder how vodka soaked jelly beans would go? Eat one jelly bean and soak in one shot vodka in the stomach. Repeat as often as desired or neccessary.
