Here is my contribution.
A couple of flowers from my garden.
I was surprised by their late bloom as we are experiancing very cold weather here.
I used a Nikon 18-55 kit lense with a Tri-star star CU1
slip on magnifier slip on lense for these shots.
I love the blur it produces on the background.
I just added 1step of +contrast and cropped the photo.
Camera Nikon D5000 on manual mode, f5.6 @1/100
ISO 200
Hope you like them.

I have read the thread and have been a member for awhile.
I am one that is not concerned about the terms of use policy and disclaimers I have read and agreed to.
I Have Picasa, Flickr , and facebook acounts as well as other accounts as Social communities. All of the disclaimer are about the same in context. If this disclaimer bother you m I think ( In My Opinion ) That you would have problems with all of the other Social networks and most other forums like this. I really dont believe that photographers really use social networks and forums to sell their work that are of extrem value on thes networks. I have done fair in he photography profession and I dont post any photos that I find/think is part of my work function. Forums like these are fun and people want to learn frpm photographers like us that experianc. People in general want their work Critiqed and are looking for constructive criticsm. We do this because we enjoy helping people and even learn from others here. All photographers do not post thier bread and butter here, they know what they are. I believe that no one ( I hope ) would steal a photo and try to make a profit from a photo that needs serious critiqeing and help.
This is my HONEST and HUMBLE OPINION.
Please everyone, let us keep this site fun and helpful to the up and coming Photographers. Let us help them go from
taking snapshots to photographers. :-) There is a difference and many strive to take photographs not snapshots.

A good photograph is something that you took and really like. What maes a good Photographer? Well in my opinion, it is some that has heart and will taske in what he/she sees with passion and creativity. IMHO
To become famous most photographer work hard all their lifr and achive ome sort of recognition, but in the end. They are reaaly recognized for their work after they die.
No idea why that is , but it is my opinion.
Please be kind and donot behead this messanger <G>

I dont have the promaster lenses that you have stated, but I do have the tri-star lense =1 -2 and =4 with a ckin adap[ter to slide my lenses on or stack. The lenses is great for macro photography and you do have to use a sturdy tripod. You will have to be very close when you use the lenses. I have used experimented wih the lenses and have found that the slightest movement on the subject will blur the image. Just my 2cents <G>
Have fun experimenting with it. You may surprise yourself :-)
