Howdy all I am Jom or Jomie as most call me. I live in Bismarck ND. and am currently working in concrete. I have always been into photograph but am recently become very passionate about it, I see myself retiring to it, hopefully soon. I am not pinning myself down to just one specific of photo I love flowers, scenic, portrait, sunsets, graphic, cars, architecture,and cartooning. I have recently been taking courses at BSC and am looking to expand that education with sites like this I am glad to be here with everyone.

Thank you Kento. Although my dad wasn't at Normandy, he did fight in the European theater, mostly in Sicily and Italy.
My father was in Sicily/Italy also and died of wounds 1944 I was 2yrs old at the time and I have his medals and Commemoration Scroll Framed in my bedroom
Went out the other morning before dawn in the hope of capturing a misty sunrise. However the mist kept rolling down the valley getting denser and denser, though quite low level. When the camera became dripping with condensation / dew, decided to pack up and go home. Did get this image though, albeit it is "HDR'd"
Falmouth Bay is one of Cornwall's gems and a mecca for yachts as well as large commercial port. St Mawes is a stunning little fishing port opposite Falmouth on the East side of the bay. The Helford River, to the South on the town, is where many of the troops embarked for the D-Day invasions of Normandy.

A PERFECT VILLAGE SUNDAY IN ENGLAND 1- Early in the morning, wander down the village to get The Sunday papers, passing through the 1000 year old Church yard. 2- Down through the dew drenched meadow at the back of the churchyard soaked in the early morning Spring misty sunshine 3 & -4- Stroll back along the high street enjoying the centuries old cottages with their quintessential English Cottage Gardens showing signs of blooming into full summer glory. 5- & 6 Take a short cut through the ancient woodlands with the ground carpeted with Wild Garlic 7 & 8 After a good pub plowman's lunch settle down on the Village Green and watch the local team and the team from the next village playing a game of Cricket 9- After the game has finished wander home past the old church at the other end of the village For me its perfect English Sunday
