I wasn't aware that Costco framed photos. What type of frames do they use, i.e. wood, metal, etc. I know they do canvas wraps, but wasn't they offered frames. Thanks. I'm going to check it out.

They do a very nice job and if you're not happy with it they'll do it over for free. I know a lot of pros that use Costco for enlargements, poster size prints and canvas prints. Try them, I think you'll like the results.

I'm not sure. Actually, I used to know, but forgot. The easiest thing to do is give them a call.

$2.99 for a 12X18, and $5.99 for a 16X20, plus when you pick it up, if you don't like it they'll redo it for free !

My friend just got some photos he sent out to a lab from the internet, and they really messed up. He had been pleased with this lab, in the past, but now he's stuck with the print. He's going to enter it in a camera club competition. It will not do well, as it is. I told him to go to Costco and redo it before next week's competition.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site. There was a question, yesterday or a couple of days ago regarding having pictures printed at Costco. I too, have had problems in the past, when making 12X18 or 16X20. If you use the entire photo as shot you probably will not have a cropping issue. However, if you crop the original image, you will be frustrated at times because it will cut off some of the image. The technique I now use is to first select the crop tool and then insert the width, length dimensions. and the resolution at the top PSE.
Then use the crop tool on the photo. If it doesn't go to the edge of the photo, grab a corner handle and drag it past the image so there is about a half to 3/4 of an inch around the outside of the image. You may have to slightly tweak it sometimes, but it seems to work for me. I use Costco's web site to send my images. After you upload the images you can view if the cropping has worked. If it hasn't you can quickly redo it Photoshop again. I'm not sure I've done a good job of explaining this, but I hope this helps.
