Welcome to the forum, Paul.
The correct answer to SoHillGuy can be one of:
1) (in a sneer) We don't need no stinkin model releases....
or
2) (in an innocent tone) model releases?
or
3) yes
I like multiple choice questions. Just don't make it to many.
Welcome, I want to see the fish.
Welcome. You must be pretty busy getting model releases.
I wouldn't be disapointed that the Photographer wouldn't commit to your request. Here you have a vast arena for information, and education. You have us, the UHH'ers, the internet with many free sites that provide information, and a local library with books, and videos.
The important thing is you were there to enjoy the wedding festivities. Like they say it is nice to be on this side of the grass.
1951 was a good year. Welcome!
I enjoyed your series of photo's. Well done.
To bad she can't just do the laundry list of photo's with out getting in the way of your professional shots.
Best of luck on this shoot. It does sound like you will be under stress before, during, and even after the wedding.
I like photo 9 which shows their relative size to the leaf.
Welcome from from a fellow Washington member.
After seeing so many flower pictures on the site, I find this photo to be a among the best. Welcome to UHH.
To much of the rule of thirds, sometimes it needs to be broken.
The photo shows me the bonding love between parent and child. Even if was a posed shot, that feeling is transmitted.
Thanks for the posting.
Some questions come to mind. Does everyone who has pictures to share, have the means, and knowledge to upload to a selected site. I wouldn't limit myself to one method of getting the pictures. Someone might have prints, and no way to scan them to digital.
Welcome. Something about the silhouette subject is distracting. It doesn't seem natural, as the lighting around it is not in deep shadows. Otherwise I like your photo's, good detail, and composition.
Circa 1948 I started my photo hobby printing pictures from negatives my father had taken. I'm not sure what the first camera was that I used, but I do remember my Kodak Tourist II which used 620 film. It has an f6.3-f32 lens, and the shutter speeds were T-B-25-50-100. I still have the camera. Now if I could just recall all the memories that went with it.
