Well, I would like to "join the conversation"... (well, in this case, literally, so maybe it's not so bad...)

"Vape" is both a noun and a verb. A "vape" is short for a vaporizer. Not your grandmother's vaporizer, but specifically a device for heating marijuana to a high enough temperature to vaporize the THC and CBD but not hot enough to start it burning. It is a little less irritating to the lungs than smoking. The word is used as a verb and refers to the act of using this vaporizer. Because a "vape" should be distinguished from a traditional vaporizer, I might argue that it is a useful word.

By the way - I personally neither "vape" nor smoke marijuana, but I advise patients about the use of medical marijuana.

Below is a photo of a "vape" made by the Pax company. The photo is in black and white because I used it in a book for my patients (available through Amazon, if anyone is interested! http://www.amazon.com/Medical-Marijuana-guidebook-Stephen-Blythe-ebook/dp/B00XF8KA36/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451737622&sr=8-1&keywords=medical+marijuana+blythe )

It is sad, and frustrating.

I am one of the few physicians (in the country?) who regularly uses email with my patients. However - many people do not know about the "Sig" file (signature file) which will automatically insert their name and any other information they want into every email they send. So I will get an email from "pookypoo@gmail.com" or some such name with no other identifying information. It might say that they need a refill for their lisinopril or something like that. Hard to refill without a name! At least I can hit "Reply" and let them know that I have a very large address book and I really don't remember every single email address and name that goes with it!

Judging from my cat, they are bipolar to the extreme but also very, very smart and cunning. I have no doubt that your cat was very aware that it was being pet by a child - do a test and try that maneuver yourself! :)

Nothing wrong with reality. Skin smoothing is a post-processing version of Botox. And while I suspect that a little Botox might still result in a natural look, most people really don't know where to stop. There is a local TV dealer who employs a Barbie-Doll model in their ads - she looks more like a mannequin than a human. And never in these ads does she ever blink. My wife gets upset when, watching television, I start yelling: "BLINK, DAMMIT - BLINK!"

Was it labeled as "high protein pasta"? :)

Sounds like it would work pretty well. Lots of folks here use home-made diffusers of various types.

Neat! And nicely captured. Are they common there, or was this a treat? We have one at our local little zoo - I love to hear his cry/laugh. Very distinctive!

I grew up in Kansas - they were everywhere out on the plains - yes, it is a meadowlark.

Ahhh.... Continuing to feed the egos of the self-absorbed! Will it follow me into the bathroom and shoot a nice video while I take a dump? :)

Some bundles throw in a bunch of cheap stuff - off-brand batteries, filters, etc. These things might be useful, but often not that much.

Bundles of cameras with lenses need to be evaluated carefully - With Canon I have seen Canon offering bundles with two lenses - at the same time Costco offered a similar bundle for less money, but on closer inspection the lenses were inferior quality lenses.

In the above example, the lenses that were in the Costco bundle were not the newer STM lenses, which are considered much better than the older kit lenses, which is what were being included in the bundle at Costco. Otherwise, Costco can have very good prices on photo equipment.

Russ's comments are excellent. I agree - I was really drawn to the last photo - even though her coloring is great and the first two photos are very appealing. I agree that as much as I like the third photo, the lace is a little busy and distracting, and cropping to put her more to the left would help. All in all, really nice photos of a very beautiful young woman.
