Yes we have asked those same questions. The area I live in is considered a tourist area because of Glacier National park. Most of all the condo's and new construction for homes are being listed as vacation rentals and are priced way above what any of us locals would be able to afford. Even the apartments are now starting to go 1300 and up for 1 bedrooms....it's really scary!
I am one of the lucky one's that have my home paid off. I am just waiting for the market to crash because I just can't see it being sustainable the way it is.
