I’m relatively new to digital photography and have collected some gear, but wondering if it’s the right stuff.
I have a Sony a6000, the kit lenses, a sigma 100-400 (MC-11 adapted), a Tamron 18-200 (B011) and an old manual Nikkor zoom macro that I’m happy with.
I’m not 100% satisfied with the sharpness I’m getting, of course the Tamron is better than the kit lenses and the Sigma is better still.
My question is:
Should I sell the lenses and go with better lenses?
Get a full frame camera and keep the lenses?
Sell everything and go with something else?
I’m also having trouble determining just how sharp is sharp enough. I don’t do social media, mostly prints, some up to 16x20.
My shooting breaks down like this (Approx):
Landscape—40%
Close up—30%
Wildlife—20%
Sports (Grandkids)—8%
Indoor sports—2%
Any advise would be most appreciated.

When I got back into photography about a year ago (I'm from the film and brass & glass days), I looked at probably 5 or 6 free trial software programs. I settled on Affinity Photo because of price and it was pretty simple to learn. I have used it to focus stack. They call it "merge." The first one I did had 5 photos stacked up and the most photos I did was 44. Quick and easy (of corse I don't have experience with any other PP programs so I assume it's quick and easy).

I just got mine this past Friday at Costco ($1599.99 for both ears). Less than 1/2 price of Sam's club and the "Pro" place and in two days of use thay are great. I like the "cafe" program best.

Contact Green Jeep Tours in Estes Park. For a about $200 they can show you places in the park from a jeep (little walking) that you'd never see otherwise. We've done 2 tours with them, great folks.
