I'm always a little bit confused and have to go look up what is considered a macro photograph, then of course I'm still confused. But since I don't own a "macro?:" lens why should I worry about being a little confused. There was another "Photogirl" who was responsible for the origin of this thread. I always remember something she said about this matter. "You got a zoom lens then get as close as you can to focus, take the shot, and crop it in post processing". I never really tried this consciously and I haven't been out lately ... so I did. This is one where I very quickly found I needed to get out the tripod, Judy.... Here's what I got.
