Why? They would just fire back that Canon has been the number 1 camera and lens company in sales for 19 years. Not an issue for Canon fanboys. But as a former Nikon user I am happy for Nikon, after years of losing market share to Sony, they come back fighting with this model. I only hope it is enough to keep them afloat long enough so they can make a comeback.
Competition improves the breed for everyone. Or kills off the weak. Lets hope Nikon has not been weakened too much
I agree, but i wouldn't worry much about Nikon staying afloat, when it comes to color rendition, no camera company comes close to either Canon or Nikon. It just amuses me when i hear people arguing about the two companies!
