Hand held 600mm-pretty damn good detail! Beautiful shot (and no ice?).
Yes, I like the first one with the birds especially.

Otters are terrific! We sometimes see them on canoe trips here on the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. Bill
Hey George:
I follow the same approach that Andy does. It seems only fair. But then again, I often buy from B&H straight away-rare that I'm near a good, small camera store on Delmarva.

Fond memories, way in the past-frustrating times. Trying to learn how to dodge and burn like AA...

I have a Coolpix 900 and its very handy for snap-shot types of subjects-I just am careful not to try to handhold the high magnifications. (A tripod comes in handy for those-not exactly snap-shots.)

Hi Roni:
I might be interested, if you haven't sold it yet?
You could PM me if it is available, please?
Bill
Very nice! Worth the visit.
Thanks for sharing them.

Very nice shots. I like the third best, but they're all terrific!

Gotta love the Adirondacks. I took some great pictures there in the early 70's (slides of course).
Reflections can be quite something.
Would like to get back there some Fall.

p.s. The Adirondack Museum in Blue Mt. Lake is worth a trip any time of year.
It was worth a good chuckle-thanks!

Nice, Jack. It looks cold! We're coming back from warmth in TX-a trip to the State park might be in order...
