He looks as though he is posing for you. Love this one.
RenoMike, love the variety of skyscapes.
Arizona Sunset
Some of the close-ups are so gorgeous that they look like they are made of brightly colored wood.

I wouldn't do anything with it except a little saturation adj. How close are you to SedoƱa?
Thanks for the tip. I just bought Photo Shop and am still working with a simple editor. I can't wait until I can use saturation on just parts of the photo (in this case just the bluebird).
Thanks for the input. I live about 15-20 minutes from Sedona. I moved here from Texas. I saw that you are from South Texas, which is another wonderful area. I lived in Corpus for a couple of years and loved it.
Dottie,
I have been taking pic for fun of mostly wildlife but know nothing about technique or equipment. I am retired and finally have the time and motivation to get into the technical stuff and definitely want feedback, so I joined this forum. I used to flower garden and take photos of the flowers. This is the only thing you can't do where I live in AZ...and that is grow a variety of beautiful flowers practically year round. Good luck to both of us in this new adventure!
Hi Dottie,
Moved to AZ several years ago and am also new to UH or UHH.
We sure do have lots of interesting wildlife and scenery to inspire this hobby as Jim H mentioned.
I can't post my photo. Boo hoo.
Use UHH because UH sounds like a college name.
Your point of view is helpful. It may be subjective depending on the photographer and the observer. I played around with the saturation and made the green slightly brighter. I think I will benefit from different perspectives and experiences from signing on, so thanks for your perspective.
Thank you so much for your suggestions. I know about rule of thirds from and art class but didn't apply it to my photo. I do have software to saturate the colors of the cactus and will work on that. Again, thank you.
What outstanding shots above. I am new. I would like to have you look at some shots and give me some tips.
