A severe crop that tried to salvage shots way beyond the reach of the lens... Pretty sure it was territorial. This fight carried on across the creek. the loser flew away on upstream squawking all the way. The Champ flew back over here where it started... I knew it was beyond reasonable focus, but I had to try... I got what I could...
really enjoyed your Old Washington Park pics... The blacksmith shop is interesting... Old cemeteries tell stories that haven't been told by others in a long time, and the history books missed.
Dana these are quite nice in spite of the sun. You did well. And I enjoy places like that. I once read an article by a National Geo. photog and I have found this nugget works well: When the sun is so bright and especially at mid day - try converting the image to B/W or sepia.
they're absolutely right... thanks for the tip !! these are "repeat" shots, so I didn't want to spend too much edit time on them. I did try using the ND filter, But a lot of shots still kept blowing the white out.. oh well... still studying on that...
