I like the 2nd shot the best, just wish you had shot vertical to show further up the track and give even better perspective on the long journey ahead for this poor turtle.

Thanks much. I have one, enclosed, I was going to put it in originally, but it seemed too far away. Then that's sort of the theme here, home is far away enough to take the train. Erney

Erney, great perspective here. We can see just how long & difficult a journey this poor turtle has.
Hope you don't mind but I couldn't resist playing around with this shot. Straightened, cropped, and adjustment to color/contrast

Don't you need a license to carry a gun in a public, or is that only in some states?

=====================================
Of course you do and the guy HAD a permit that the cop took and didn't want to give back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't the permit contain the guys; photo, name & address. and if it did, why did the cop ask him for his name and for ID?

A permit isn't a picture ID...no photo.

Guess each state is different. I'm in Penn. a co-worker showed me his permit to carry and it basically looks like a drivers license

I assume you were dressed as Bosley since we never see Charlie.
Great to see adults not afraid to let their inner child come out and play.

Everything depends on brightness of the moon. Why not shoot in aperture mode and let camera choose speed. Also, if moon is particularly bright, try ISO 100 or 200 (less noise).

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I was very happy with the results, especially since I had to shoot through a fence to get the 1st two images.
'Out of Focus', my wife was behind me trying to get our cats attention.

Last good knish I had was years ago, just off the 7 train in front of Shea.

Looks like the rare, Orange-bill Brooklyn bookworm duck. Usually only spotted near hotdog or knish street vendors. They are not normally drawn to bird seed.
