Wow! Can't go past £12 each! If you've never shot anything like a TLR or box brownie before, it'll take a little getting used to framing up your shot, but if you *have* used a box brownie you're set. Lubitels might not be the best camera on the block (compared to Rollieflex), but they're fun to use. Would love to see what you get out of it. Here's some photos from my Lubitel 2 (the tree was shot with expired film, if I remember correctly).

Excellent Liz, thx for posting. I've taken it out of the cupboard, will certainly have a go. Mine has 1/2 a film (XP 2) left in it from all those years ago! I just happen to have a roll of (o.o.d.) Ilford FP4 in front of me!

What model's your Lubitel? I've a Lubitel 2 that I picked up mint online for $(NZ)65. Taken some nice shots with it too.

A166B Liz, I bought 2 one for me, one for Dad, around 1999, I paid £12 each. I must get round to using one!

Picked up a Smena 8M online at the beginning of the year, and I'm wondering if there's anyone here who's had experience of these cameras and their thoughts of said camera.

I have one too Liz. seems 'as new'. I have yet to try it. Last year, I tried the Cosmic Symbol, I was a bit disappointed just how good it was! It was fun. Bung a film thro' it. Good luck!

The Zenit E was my first SLR, too, Shag ....

How was the Nikon FM3A different than the original FM, Shag?

Just much more sophisticated Chris. My FM is smashed and battered, it's been to some interesting places, it must still be worth £30. It is not for sale! Incidentally, my bro'-in-law has just sorted out an old Zenit (not exactly certain how old) for me. Should be interesting to have a play.

FM3A? I've not had the pleasure of using one. My 1978 FM is the loveliest camera I've ever handled, it just feels right. I'll always have a soft spot for the Zenit 'E', first love etc!

So you think that this cognizant-testing mechanism is bogus? This test is used to determine early signs of Alzheimer s and Dementia..memory loss, faulty identification and short term memory loss. What test is it that you want him to take? Trump demanded this test - it not part of a routine exam for a President (who has passed a very rigorous test in order to be Inaugurated. He wanted to take this test to prove to the MSM and Democrats and h**ers, that what they are accusing him of is bogus. And even after all the results have been disclosed, they still don't believe it. This is madness.

Trump doesn't drink. He doesn't smoke. His only vice that we can determine is that he likes McDonald's cheeseburgers.

I challenge you to take this test and see how you do. Look closely at it, there are questions that are not proposed in your post that are not given a place for an answer because they are verbal. It's is not simple, believe me.

Did you buy it new or used? If new I would suggest a trip to Nikon to have it looked at under warranty.
But if you bought it used I think you bought someone elses problem!
Its a good lens on your 24MP body and should be giving you better results. Don't use it on the D800's or the D850 though.

Hi MT, If it's no trouble, I'd like to know why you don't recommend that lens on a D8xx. Does the sensor embarrass the lens? I am currently using an fx Nikkor 70-300 (I like it very much) and wonder if the same applies. Many thanks in anticipation, S.

So Trump authorizes offshore drilling and then trump realizes that it might impact on Marla Lago and meets with his crony friend the Republican Governor and exempts Florida from the new open offshore drilling.

Corruption? Is there any other way to interpret it? Other than having Trumpclots of the Brain?

I was contemplating discussing the subject with him in Feb. but he's not coming to London now. Apparently, some Brits called him nasty names.

Uh? THAT again?

Not quite.

First the op claims to be a 'serious christian'. I do not know what that means but since he claims to be a minister he should be 'christian like'. He is not. He has me on ignore. I called him a 'merchant' in the christian section. His unwillingness to see what surrounds him as a representation of god is stunning. A 'christian' theme??? What is that if not blind??? As a 'serious christian', the supposedly 'leader of a church' should be able to see.

That is just a start...

--

On the thread I noticed that someone said 'ignoring folks' is the act of a coward (or something like it). Great, why does this person ignores me then? Because I called him an hypocrite over his self advertising saying he 'did not do it' (which it was entirely possible since no one controls the adds here) but by pointing out the adds in question he was simply dishonest in his statements 'I did not do it but by golly I will make everyone notices them'.

--

Taking picture of dead children with their mother or parents... THAT is simply weird. I do not see how this can help a grieving family to be able to see the dead kid months or years later unless you are considering seriously ill folks. I have two pictures of my first wife when she was very much alive. Wanting to see her on a slab after her autopsy would be seriously sick.

-----

Non nonsensical debate of who believes or not believes in what is simply a waste of time, similar to what is posted in the attic. From there well, there is really nothing to say that can please anyone so...

If one think santa claus exists, let him be. If one think shooting santa is a good idea (defend your castle) good luck with that. If one wants to believe in anything why try to convince this person otherwise? What business is it of yours?

I believe in god. I know that by itself is d******e, so what? You want to try to convince me otherwise? Trust me, folks in real life have tried w/o success. I do not use the bible to answer questions, it makes absolutely no sense to do that. My way of living should speak by itself.

Being a christian should prevent taking part in partisan politics for wh**ever reason, including 'moral issues' that are fabricated for political gain. For me to find churches or denomination groups that support the current administration show how far the corruption these churches is. Add to my list churches that offer free guns and one has to wonder what kind of lunatics call themselves christians. There is no wonder that there is a push back against any and all religions.

Religions represent themselves as lights to save lives. In reality religions are controlling organisations regardless of what the hell they are, christian (any kind), muslim, hindu, wh**ever. Organized religions are responsible for so many crimes in the name of 'their gods' through history (including now) I am left to question who, in good faith, wants to be part of that.

No, faith is intimate, addresses only one person, no one else. Faith cannot be shared by speaking out in public. Living one's faith has more power than giving 'lectures' that deliver the wrong message using distorted quote from the bible. Do use the bible thought, it has much to say, IF you let it.

Do what you want with this post.
