Getting Pictures onto iPad

In your My Pictures folder there is a sub folder named Photo Stream. Screen capture by simultaneously pressing the home key, and an/off button at the top of your iPad, takes a snapshot of the page you are on, go to photos and find your pic

I am not sure whether it is an iCloud feature or a sync from the iPad. If I knew how to do a screen capture I would show you those folders. I just know that the folders were there when the person from Apple asked me to look. I did nothing to add them. It is a pretty cool deal. I have saved all the keepers from my iPad to a hard drive keeping the iPad clean and using the photoframe slideshow feature.
I know this didn't answer your original question, but I mostly show what has been edited and keep them safe in n additional spot. I would still call Apple. It could be something quite minor. 1-800-MY-APPLE
