how to use my speedlight indoors and get correct white balance. i have the canon 40d
can a gray card be used with flash? with wb setting on my camera?
if i take a flash picture of subject with the grey card-can i then use the white balance dropper tool in ps or lr to click on card for proper reading?

when would i use the custom white balance in my camera and how?-my problem seems to be -getting correct white balnce when using my speedlight.
cant seem to open the arrow on the targeted adjustment or crop tool in acr to extend the opitions.
i click on the arrow or right click neither way works.

in the graduated filter menu on the bottom there is a picture of an "envelope" on the left side and color option opposite it on the right side.
i once tried using it to see what it does. now i am working on another picture and dont want to use it on the picture i am working on. it seems to be active even if i dont click on it.
how can i undo it? so it doesnt affect the picture i am working on now?

in the windows drop down menu i usually have history, layers, etc. checked so that they are always open when i am working on a picture. however, sometimes they just turn off without me turning me them off. how can i make sure they are always checked even after closing and opening photoshop.

i have 2 tabs open in photoshop. when i try to separate them so i can see them both at the same time, only 1 stays where i can see it, the other hides behind photoshop-like it would be on my desktop..but the same size as when i opened it. not as an icon. hope this helps. thank you
