today is absolutely gorgeous outside ,the wife and I have been working in the yard, and I was constantly asking see any bugs yet? and the answer would be NO!! But low and behold we have two compost barrels and thought to myself, gee maybe something lurks inside one of them, well I found this fly inside one, had to stick my head inside to get the darn photo as it would no come and pose for me, so my angle is not great and the photo probably is not either BUT I finally got to shoot one here's a look. First photo is the original, second one is cropped.
Nikon D3100 at ISO 500, Nikkor 105G leans, 1/200 sec at f/9, Nikon SB-700speedlight with softbox.
Oh and a side note, man did it stink in that barrel :) :) maybe next one I find well be in a barrel of beer
