I'm a little disappointed at UHH responses here; I have received a bounty of useful information, something useful almost every day. Several of these answers here are seemingly condescending. Some responders appear annoyed at the questions. I am a real estate agent, used to own a camera store. As an agent, I always would rather someone asked their question, than later say: " I wish I had asked you." People ask questions because they don't know the answer.

I have responded to this before; I bought a Wasabi charger and batteries from Amazon for $ 20 or so; I buy them all the time for my D7100, D600, and various point and shoot cameras I have / have had. They work great ! Have used them for several years without seemingly suffering any adverse effects.

knock off, I am sure; I think I noticed the Nikon part on-line; don't remember exactly, but, I think it was a lot more ( like $ 8.99 or something ); doesn't matter; my door is secure ( and, there is a spring clip that holds the battery in )

I took my Nikon D7100 out of my bag one day and found the battery door missing; repair service on-line wanted $85 to fix it; went to Amazon, found a door for $ 2.99, had it in a few days; it popped on - good to go !

go to snapsort.com; you can put in any two cameras at a time and get great comparative analyses of them

more worried about the barrel / pincushion / soft corners that is referred to on all the wide angle lenses; my aim is nothing more than a great picture; won't enlarge to more than 16x20, if that, in most instances.

CANYONLANDS - go to Dead Horse Point: go out onto the rocks safely and look and photograph down the view of the Goose Neck and 1800 ft drop; go into town and try to get a jeep ride in the back areas;

Go across the street to ARCHES National Park - enough said
