Is that a show bike or did you just happen to have brand new rubber? Nice looking bike.
My wife has always told me I can look but not touch. Based on the question posed I probably need clarification on which body. At least that's my story.
I love cactus booms & those are spectacular.
I just purchased Luminaries and am pleased with it's handling of Nikon raw files. Just applying the Raw file tool immediately gives me an image superior to the simultaneous JPG the camera creates.
Love the extreme detail in download.
Take a look at Amazon & search for portable charging station. There are a couple that look like they would work but you might have a problem with weight if you don't have a fixed base camp. You may need to lay in a supply of camera batteries and charge them all before leaving.
Based on Lynn's post above, an inverter works great but remember to run the car you attach it to periodically. I killed my car battery forgetting that little tip once before.
Just don't rely on a single external backup drive. They have a propensity for failing at the most inopportune time. I've had clients lose large quantities of photos & documents by relying on the single drive scenario. Sometimes those files can be covered by mounting the drive on a computer booted with Unix but not always. iCloud, Dropbox, Microsoft cloud, maybe even Carbonite, would be good choices for online storage.
Thanks for all the replies. I'm not particularly worried about someone stealing the photos but I would like to make it just a little more difficult for people to not provide proper credit. Of the many times I've been published, all I ever ask for is a photo credit as I'm not doing photography to make money any longer.
What apps are folks using to add their name & copyright on the photo? I've seen some that look like prints that have borders with that information in the border area as well as just positioned on their individual photos. Any tips or information greatly appreciated.

This will be interesting to follow by others. I once rewashed B/W negs after three week of development do to dust in my darkroom. What have you got to loose try few samples and see what happens!
I don't know of any problem in doing that, however, I'd follow the suggestion above and try a test on something deemed unimportant.
On #4, they must have needed that one shoelace for some really important task.
It looks like a Northern Harrier, aka Marsh Hawk. Pretty close match to the picture in my field guide. Can't see enough detail toward the end of the tail to be positive.
Fantastic detail in the download. Nice shot.
Thanks for kind words, Don.
