Yes, you have to believe the right shot hasn't come yet. For years I lead photo workshops for AZ Highways Photo Workshops all over the country until my passion fell into fine art portraiture in a Classic Tradition. We use to teach waiting until the right moment to take the image.
The clouds were high and wispy and I knew it should be a good sunset. I went to a spot not to far from my home that I never bothered shooting before. There were six other photographers at this location all with their cameras set on tripods capturing images. I knew it wasn't time yet so I just sat in my SUV reading. One by one they put their cameras away and left. about ten minutes after the last one packed up and departed I took my camera and tripod out set up and waited another five or ten minutes. Here is what they missed, "You Have To Believe."
