Thanks for your reply re judging others and their habits. I know the experience. Felt it here once. You are totally correct. Bravo.
Beautiful image. Thank you
Exquisite story. Thank you.
WOW ! More beautiful than I remember it.
Thank you. Looking still - for something a little earlier.
I'll have a look at Roberts. Thanks
Thank you. Still in development.
Thanks cathys - Still considering all the suggested cameras.
Thanks to all of you. I am still in the developing tank.
Alan - I am grateful and in awe of the indepth detailed and very helpful information - obviously from your experience. Thank you very much.
Your astute commentary alsorovides valuable historical data plus pricing guidelines. I have seen two AE-1P's for approx. $229 + with 50mm f/1.4 claiming very good condition. Hard to prove online. Good to know about the battery information.
Pleasure was mine.
Thanks for the lead. The Canon AE-1 P was often sold as a kit paired with the 50mm f/1.8. I know nothing about those other lenses. Honestly, I was only looking for the 50mm. There are several listed online - ebay, etc. for anywhere from $118.95 to $229 -this with a 50 f/1.4. Of course they all say each is in good to excellent condition.
I just wanted to first see if anyone of our UHH folks had one. Let me think about it.
I appreciate it.
I always hae a choice. Thanks for the information.
Thank you for the good information
I'm looking for an older 35mm slr film camera in excellent condition - refurbished or used. E.g., in the style of Canon AE-1 program, etc.
I have searched online and found several on ebay and a couple of other places, but none on B&H or Adorama. None have turned up locally yet. Does anyone have one? I guess I can always get one on Ebay and return it if not satisfied.
As always thanks for your time.
