Here are my only two photos taken at that same pier.
One shows a young seal that was resting below the pier.
The other shows the tunnel effect of the pilings that support the deck above.

I stumbled onto this old truck in the Maine Woods In Woolwich, Maine in October 2016. It was obvious it had been there a long, long time.
There must be a story explaining how this came to be, but no one was there to ask. I’ve always liked this photo, I remember looking at the truck for a long time before taking a few pictures to remember what I had discovered.

When our son returned from his first deployment in Iraq he was sitting in our backyard staring at our grass and trees and remarked that there is no green in Iraq and that he missed seeing this over there. Very calming influence to the soul.
