Lens of 62 mm is a known. What is the size of the filter you have? If it is in fact 72mm then you need a step down ring. You may have to do it in two stages
for the reduction of 72mm to 62mm depending on your ring set.
My set offers steps 36mm and up to 205mm, I also have the step down rings in the same range, but the range you have in question is 62 to 72mm.

Hope you all are having a Happy Christmas and will enjoy a Wonderful and Safe New Year.
I am spending the Holidays with some of my children and grand-children. Our family is
spread out over several States. However, our son who lives in Vienna Austria has made his annual trek
home for the holidays. We do plan to visit him there in the Spring. It will be my first trip back to Europe
since the 80's, can not wait to see the changes, enjoy the food and travel without any schedule to keep.

I have returned to this site after several years of forum emails.
Since I will retire from the daily grind on 12/31/18 I hope to return to my hobby
of special interest, with more active use of the many film cameras I have collected over the years.
Cameras of my interest include: Topcon, Leotax, Leica RF, Leica R, Exakta, Contax RF and Contaflex.
Would love to hear from anyone with like interest.
