I like to approach everyday subjects with a different or unique view. I use my imagination, and so without to much distortion from the truth of the image I try to create a less obvious perspective. Here are four examples of my desire to look at everything from a different perspective.

Thank you so much for your kind words everyone!
well done! I agree with the "prime lens" issue. I shoot all my landscapes with a 17-70 zoom, so I can crop in camera.
wow.... I love # 3 that is so cool!
OK... ermmmm fog? I haven't had much success with rain.... but I love fog.
here is a couple of examples of my take on minimalist.
Thank you Jaymatt. #4 has always been one of my favorites as well. I took several at this location, but in this case the sun came out thru the fog for about 30 seconds. Fortunately I was already set up... tripod etc... and this was the result.
I have always been an early morning person.
Now that I am retired I have time even more time to get up and explore the world around me instead of having to go to work.
Instead I get to work, interpreting the early morning light.... my favorite time of the day. Enjoy.
OK.... here is the thing.... with the Mackerrrs lens filter.... AKA plastic lid to a sundae placed over the front of my 17-70 zoom. The lens is 72mm... just the right size for the lid.. haha. This is just for demonstration... I took this shot thru the window of my office at the back of my house.
hang in there guys.... I will get time to do it again tomorrow... then I will post some examples
sigma 17-70 zoom..... stays on my camera as I can use it for just about everything.
Thank you everyone for you responses
Beautiful colors.... like on another world!
