Hi Andy: Always nice to hear about what other members are up to. Since my interest in photography began in the 1950's I've owned many different light meters. With the introduction of built-in metering I eventually disposed of my collection. The only one I kept for sentimental reasons is the Hasselblad Exposure Meter Knob and wrist strap.

A friend of mine asked me to sell his Gossen Lunasix but it needed batteries and the Duracell 625a's fit and were fastest to get. They may not be the proper voltage but the meter seems to be operating correctly. The mistake occurred in preparing the listing copy because I also ordered Duracell 123's for a Rollei X115 my friend has also asked me to sell.

You are right, my mistake. It should read "Duracell 625a" batteries.

This is a vintage Gossen Lunasix Electronic System Exposure Meter with a leather case, strap and Operating Instruction booklet in very nice condition. Meter has two brand new “DURACELL Lithium 123” batteries and it seems to work fine.

A comparison check with a Nikon 850 shows the Gossen meter needle settings in both incident and reflected light measurements to be accurate. The meter, leather case, strap and booklet are in very nice condition for their age.

I have never used a Minox camera but I am listing it for the family of a friend who recently passed away. Camera has not been tested with film but an informal check shows the camera functions are fully operational: Viewfinder is bright and clear, metric system focus scale (not inches), shutter speeds sound accurate, film counter advances, Filter Bar operates green/red filters smoothly, film bay is spotless and the light meter works when activated - but accuracy of shutter and meter cannot be guaranteed. Cosmetically, the camera, light meter and leather cases show little wear for their age.

This is a rare and extremely high quality loupe by Kenko Optical-Japan designed specifically for Long Eye Relief (LER) use. Precision machined magnesium body and optical coated glass are exceptionally clean, no scratches or chips. To the best of my knowledge this loupe is no longer produced.

Many special hunting rifle scopes and binoculars are designed for eyeglass wearers because the LER feature allows for a comfortable, full field of view from a distance of 6 inches and beyond.

Great for photographers who wear glasses. With 8x magnification, this LER loupe will allow you to wear your eyeglasses and see the entire field of view starting at 6 inches.
