Stacked three lenses, trying to stop action while gaining DOF. Picked up tons of grain. This is about 20% of frame cropped.

Look up www.CreativeLive.com - lots of training classes there. Many offered free each week.

Not a huge event... and it's all over within about one hour. I'm the official photog but it's open to the public and it's free. I'll even buy lunch!

They fly fairly low, so if you live somewhere between St Louis and Cape Gerardeau MO you may be able to get a shot as they fly over. The map is on their website. 40 entries this year.

Finally figured out how to add vignette too a cropped pic without loosing all the layers in PScc. Sorry, I over-did it in my haste...

When I tried vignette in RAW fx it jumped out to the original full size frame. Couldn't edit just the cropped area.

Then I tried:

After most PP is finished, save (shift+alt+ctrl+"e") the frame, convert the flattened image to smart, THEN do the vignette in the fx in RAW.

slick...

Yeah, a bit soft, but you shot through a window? Not bad at all IMHO.

Mislead you... Shot through an open window... Thanks!

Experimenting from the office window... 100-400mm + 1.4x +2.0x , tripod, ISO 1250 on Canon 5Dm4 cropped to about 20% of frame.

Tough getting focus right when these guys are so flighty.

Sun had just gone behind the clouds.

Hi... Your photo looks unevenly lit... cropping out the bad celling would be my first edit... But with a little LR edits it could be attractive.. Did you use a flash? Did you bracket? HDR?

Corporate does all the pp. no flash allowed. +/-2 her. Policy is to turn on all lights but this lady didn't believe in lightbulbs... No AC. Nor ice cubes. Quirky.

I know this has nothing to do with technique but what is wrong with the ceiling? It looks like sagging paper.

.most of the ceilings looked that way. Anything could have happened over 100 years. Looked like paper mache.

I shoot for f8 RE Media. Very specific instructions. f8, 100 ISO, tripod -2, +2, 0. Very consistant and predictable. All are processed with Photomatrix and PScc.

Yes to Adobe CC! Then get to CreativeLive.com for a bunch of training. Ben Willmore is good at instructing. Just learn a few steps at a time... and stick with it! Have fun!

Why hadn't I thought of this? Didn't find anything grand to shoot in the back yard (on a rain day) but the results are decent. 1.4 on Canon 5Dm4 body + 2.0x plus 100-400 zoom, f16, 200iso, hdr. Yes, I PP'd on the #3.

On tripod with s stabilizer rod. (400*2*1.4 = 1120mm?) Wait til I see that squirrel...
