I didn't know anything about those numbers. I just now looked at some new Ray o vac rechargeables that I have and there is no number on them. I have some AAA ray o vacs that have the number 800 mh. I would prefer to
always by the high numbers now, if I can find them.

Maybe I'm late to the party but I just became aware of a
photographer named Clark Little. He photographs surf
from inside the waves in Hawaii. Just Google his name and
also find him on you tube. Great photos.

My lawn area is full of (gray) squirrels and I have been trying for a long time to get a shot like your third one.
Still no luck. I now keep my Minolta with 70 X 210 lens
handy. Great shot...hope I can do it too.

Your focus is so good I zoomed in on the monitor screen and I think I saw Monica over by the bus.

I want to learn how to change backgrounds. I have Gimp and photo explosion but no instruction. Is this
layering?

I love the symmetry of the feathers and the colors of the heads and necks. I am real glad there is no background clutter to detract from the subjects.

Thanks Steve, I cropped it all out. These birds have a
beautiful irridescence which I have never been able to
capture though I have many opportunities.

Let me settle this once and for all. I am a retired
police det. and private investigator so it was quite easy
to locate and talk to Mr Emory Combs who owns those
purebred Belgium draft horses in Alabama. There
were also some mules there but not in these photos.
I bring to this descussion many decades of riding, driving and training all breeds of horses and some mules, hence my user name.....Roadapplemax Those people I spoke
to in Alabama were the friendliest, most hospitable folks
anywhere. I will attend the next Syrup Sopping Day.

I took this through my kitchen window but put the lens against the glass to minimize interference.

I love sorghum but a country girl should know that those ain't mules. They are draft horses. This is a mule.
