Saturday morning provided great light for a shoot on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. Got to my preferred location about 6:15 AM. There happens to be a walking path nearby. So later in the day the birds are a bit more scarce.
This morning I hit the jackpot. 10 herons or so in various locations. I shot hundreds of photos, couldn't stop.
Sharing a few from a joy filled morning
Herons standing were at about 125 ft, BIF about 150 ft, heron & fish about 275 ft.

Light for the barn is perfect this time of year. Yup, posted it about three weeks ago. Spoke with farmer/owner and the foundation is going. Classic site.
More barn as requested. Best I can do for now.
Raym, thank you for looking in.
Hey y'all, thanks for taking the time for a look. Appreciate your comments. B&W's speak to me as well.
UTM, as you say, "life is short." My father in law always used that phrase as well as lived by it.

Ducks on the pond is one of my favorite places to shoot. Hoping the beavers rebuild the dam soon.

OK, with banks in the news just had to post a few from the last snow fall (Easter Sunday). Never put your money in a snow or fog bank. Got it!!
Y'all, very appreciative that you would take time to view these photos.
With regard and thank you
Excellent series, the last one is top shelf
Just a few from recent AM photo shoots.
