I have had his camera combo for a couple of months now. My keeper rate is slowly improving. I am glad that I haven't had to pay for film as I have been learning.

Thank you again everyone for taking time to comment. Most of our winter waterfowl visitors, have fled the coop so to speak, and are on their way north. The grebes are still hanging around, even as they change into their breeding colors.

I wish the resident geese would go north to raise their young. They are so noisy around here as they squabble over nesting sites.

Making good people helpless won't make evil people harmless. I don't see where taking away my Varminter special AR-15 is going to solve many problems. Thousands of families income depends on the manufacture, sales and the cottage industries surrounding these firearms. I personally use mine for hunting rock chucks, coyotes and prairie rats, just because I can. I have been toting some kind of firearm around for over 60 years. I have never had one leap out of my hands and shoot at someone.

I have observed people marching for their rights many times over the years. Yesterday was the first time I remember watching people march to have their rights taken away.

I pray that my grandchildren in the future have the same rights that we enjoy today.

Where I live, here in a marina, I keep the 100-400mm on my Panasonic G9 almost 100% of the time.

You really captured the essence of Yellowstone with your splendid pictures.
I had the opportunity to spend three summers on my boat in Bridge Bay Marina. This marina is on Yellowstone Lake. We fished for lake trout. They are an invasive species and need to be removed from the ecosystem there. There are no limits and it is illegal to return one to the water alive.
Yellowstone is certainly a photographer's paradise.
