Julius is turning 4 this month and his winter coat includes a good size mane this year. It will only increase as the years go by.
Photo by iPhone 12 Pro Max in portrait mode using one of the built in filters. I realize the detail is not as crisp in portrait, but I wanted to see how well it looked onscreen with a windows system.

Ghost Kitty is beautiful.

These were taken a few days ago from a second-floor balcony at Vidanta Riviera Maya, between frequent rain downpours.

The Green Jays are colorful.

The Coati were climbing trees, trying to beg for handouts.

The Chachalacas just made themselves at home LOL

The Boat-tailed Grackle was not bothered by the rain.

The unidentified grasshopper was from a walk-about.

Well done, Dick.

This is a photo of the Durango & Silverton heading toward Silverton Colorado. That is the Animus river in the background. This river made headline news az crew years ago when an abandoned mine tall spilled into the river causing a great amount of contamination.

The river is now back to its pristine state.

Beautiful image, Fred.

For the first time ever, I took these photos from the Washington Monument. Photo of the Lincoln Memorial has lot of glare due to sun position. Thanks.

This rock formation in Monument Valley, I named "Church Rock" but I am unsure. Can any one out there confirm this or is it called something else?

I have no clue as to the name, but I do know this is an excellent capture. I enjoyed this image, Fred.

The Northern Crested Caracara is in the Falcon class.
It is found in Central America, Mexico and very southern Arizona , Texas and parts of Florida.

The Crested Caracara looks like a hawk with its sharp beak and talons, behaves like a vulture, and is technically a large tropical black-and-white falcon. It is instantly recognizable standing tall on long yellow-orange legs with a sharp black cap set against a white neck and yellow-orange face. The Crested Caracara is a bird of open country and reaches only a few states in the southern U.S. It flies low on flat wings, and routinely walks on the ground

Yesterday was the first time I have seen this beauty.

Downloads are best.
Hope you enjoy.

Just outside the city limits of Mount Vernon Washington, we have great numbers of snow geese and swans that winter from here to Northern California.
I have been on the lookout for the snow geese for over a month. Earlier this week I found this bevy of swans just enjoying life in a flooded field from the tremendous amounts of rain lately!
They fed, fought for places and preened away in the early afternoon sun, seemingly oblivious to the busy highway just 50 yards from the field.
Enjoy and as always, downloads are best!
