It worked! Beautiful picture. Forgive my ignorance but, what kind of bird was it?

Looks great on the download... Nice and sharp...
Thanks, Larry. Is that a TerraTrike? We love ours.
Shot this yesterday at Penninsular Farms, OH. Sky is overblown. Tried to insert a sky background but the results were bad. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Peter
Thanks for the tip. Just ordered an Induro GHB2 from Hunt's and got a $244.49 discount for a total of $244.50 (50% discount), free shipping, no tax in Ohio. Great deal (Amazon still sells it for list price.)
Thanks to all of you, Db7423, Pat and Linda.
Thank you all for your welcome. It's good to join this group after reading the posts for quite a while. Many years ago, in the beginning of the "e-mail era" I was assigned PB73@... by some IT administrator, reasons unknown. I have kept that prefix since. Age-wise, I'm 67.
Best,

My name is Peter. I've been retired for eight years now. I live in Fremont, Ohio. Obviously, I enjoy photography and a couple of other hobbies (Ham Radio and Shooting Sports). I own, in chronological order, the original Canon Rebel, a Canon 20D, a Canon 5d MKII, a Canon IDX MKII and a Sony Alpha 6000. A couple of L-lenses, and various other Canon (and one Tamron) lenses. I don't have any wide lenses at this time. I just bought a Metabones Speed Booster Ultra so I can use my Canon mount lenses with the Sony Alpha. I am impressed by the quality of the results but I've pretty much lost all automation.
I read the Hogs every morning without exception. One never knows everything there is to know! Thanks to all who have contributed. Picture/Avatar is of our dog Ripley, a Manchester Terrier.
