I get it, but that is the nature of language.

Im sure Shakespeare would have been appalled by 1950's 'PROPER' English.

I often correct grammar, but hypersensitive people cannot endure or take a correction with any grace and appreciation. I have been blocked from responding because of "snowflake' mentality that finds any comment on their grammar intolerable. The recent posting in the "Irregardless " post has numerable replies that in themselves are ungrammatical. Please unblock me.

Someone just told me that "irregardless" is now considered a proper word. Well, there goes the verbal neighborhood. Keep making a mistake long enough, and it will become correct.

Sad to see words that were wrong grammatically being said so much as to make it acceptable. A big pet peeve of mine.
So many words written on the forum are so wrong and plentiful it sometimes makes it difficult to read or understand.
I've also seen whole paragraphs without any kind of punctuation. I gave up reading it. It was so annoying.

It has been an excepted word since the 1930's, but not preferred for use by many.

Speaking of words, did you mean to say "accepted" and not "excepted"?

First blooms from the two shades of hibiscus. These have bloomed now perhaps due to the change in temperature.
Hope you like.

Great Hibiscus shots, Sundar.

The ball head is well made and easy to use, but I don't think I will be able to follow the recommended maintenance regime...

Whatever you do, DO NOT Scrud the Spinit. Might give you a lot of problems. LOL

The plant that keeps on giving, and what beautiful gifts it gives, Tom! Gorgeous shots, and I'll bet the blooms are lasting longer as well!

Thank you, Donna. Yes! They last about 3-4 days. The cooler weather keeps them going, I guess.
Look for a PM.

Great series of nicely-exposed close-ups - nice natural tones in good light. Please stay well and keep on posting.
