Have enough fun and toys. Am 66 and the grandfather of 7 children. Enough said
What if the Ferrari goes fast enough for you and you are happy? Do you need a faster Ferrari?
I probably would not currently use the camera to its capabilities
Right now you can only use manual focus with an adapter
The new Sony is too much camera for me. Compared the specs for both the 7 ii and 7rii. Would rather use the Zeiss lenses with the Sony
True the shutter is supposed to be much quicker. The problem is for an amateur like me, you start to split hairs with technology. You get confused over what you need. Need and want are different. What you need is not necessarily what you want
I love to shoot with prime lenses. They offer better quality and you work harder for your shot
Same story. Love the alpha 7 ii and the Zeiss lenses. Cannot travel with my Nikon d810 and holy trinity anymore. How is the 16-35 f4. I have the 35mm 1.4 and consider it one of the greatest lenses I have ever used
Thanks for the response. If I understand you correctly, the sensor on the new Sony and the higher ISO would create better IQ in low light situations and create more and better opportunities in low light. There have been times when the light is so poor, that I have just put the camera down. I very rarely soot with a flash.
Luck also matters for the right shot. Being in the right place at the right time. Gear is secondary. The eye is the important part of the operation
My knees are shot. Used to run marathons. Have had two torn muniscus surgeries and one new artificial hip. Will have to get the other hip done eventually
We have discussed so much in this blog. From gear to baseball to arthritis
Great session. Keep it going
I am not as technically sharp as you and some of your reply is over my head, but I still believe the new Sony is currently too much camera for me. If I counted on my gear to make a living I might think differently
Will get killed by cars. Real Sports did a segment on biking in cities
I live 30 miles north of NYC in the country. I walk about 14 minute miles and walk about 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours per day. In the winter I use a great exercise bike daily. Have always been active my entire life and am a high tech junkie. Travel with two cameras and normally take two to three long trips a year. Life is good for me and I am blessed
